engine miss

My TR6 was running fine. I completed a tune up with all new ignition,
adjusted valves and carbs. I had a charging problem which turned out to be
the bulb in the charging circuit was burned out. I fixed that and now the
car is missing badly. Runs OK when cold, becomes almost undrivable when hot.
I've swapped points and condenser, checked valve lash, carbs are still
synced. Could it be the coil? I thought they just quit.
