Well this week end we were going to redo the rear suspension and rear hub
assemblies and rear brakes and trailing arm bushings on Tim's 72 Sapphire
blue TR6. British Parts Northwest stopped the completion of that job by
sending the wrong brake shoes and trailing arm bushings. They just dropped
a notch on my esteem level. I brag on these folks more than I should, it
appears. On the other hand we do have new hub assemblies with all new U
joints ready to go back in. The backing plates are fitted with new rear
wheel cylinders and cleaned up brake adjusters. The splines are ready for
grease and the new stone guards and spline boots are in place.

On to Larry's car. I got the grill installed. Then I decided to trouble
shoot the problem of the gas gauge and temperature gauge not working. I
also had to lubricate the speedo cable so I checked for voltage at the
voltage stabilizer and there was none. Ah-ha, must be a fuse. Checked the
fuse block and I had never gotten around to putting in fuses. Ok, that was
easy to fix.

After Tim's car is completed which should be next Saturday hopefully, I will
tackle the flywheel swap on Larry's car.

Doug's car is still pending a battery to see where we go next.

Jan says I have to stop working on Triumphs and wash the Durango so more
later. Since I am going to copy BPN on this message your addresses will be
hidden. They need to know we expect more from them. They are nice people
and up till now most reliable and cost effective.
