Yeah, great show. 20 Tr6's!!! Forgot to bring my camera. Cleaned and
primped the whole car thought I had the engine bay looking really good.
Took a look at a few neighboring TR6's and decided to leave the hood down.
There were some clean cars, and a 74 in a unique shade of green, with a
green canvas top - the car was clean - clean - clean - better than new. For
sale - asking $16.5K.

Ken, I burned about 2/3 tank round trip, same distance and speeds. Just
finished adjusting valves, timing and balancing the ZS's last week.

Hi List,

made it up to the Dixon Car show and swap meet yesterday -eventually. A
lovely warm northern California day; the radio's playing old time rock 'n'
roll, I'm in my own little world... and I miss the turn off by about 15
mils... Ended up in Sacramento; realized something was wrong, backtracked
and
found it.

Saw the cars of 2 list members -- Keith Mienhold and R Shaeffer(sp?) - but
didn't get to meet them... Now, there were some beautiful 6's there; made
mine look like an oldie, but as a daily driver, it was okay. Don't know who
won the best of class award; if I find out I'll post it..

Question for the non-O/D drivers.. Having done a carb rebuild and tune over
the last couple of weeks, this was my acid test. Drove 207 miles, used
about
9.7 gallons of gas - about 21 mpg. Speeds were 75-80 going up, 65-75 coming
back. How does this mileage compare to everyone's.. I suspect I'm running
just a little rich...

Oh yes, the swap meet. Got a tonneau cover -no damage, tears, only
dirty...
$25.... Got a convertible top down boot cover thingie, showing a little
wear -
$15... Was well worth the drive..

Today is a cloudless "it shouldn't happen in San Francisco" type of day;
maybe
a run down the coastal highway for an early afternoon lunch in Monterey...
Ah
yes, life is pretty good when you drive a '6.
