I had the same problem, and it was a bad ground at the rear turn signal socket.
The socket itself was corroded inside, where the bulb plugs in. Cleaned it up
with fine steel wool and it was fixed.

Mike, check for a poor ground in the right side lamps somewhere, I've had the
same problem on mine, except on the left side and found a bad ground inside one
of the light sockets in the front valance...more than likely it's a grounding
problem.
