Jim,
As one who has travelled the exact same painful road as Dave has with bad
lifters and a ruined cam I swore not to repeat this mistake again.
Hardened lifters are available from APT in Riverside CA, Triumphtune in the
UK and Performance Research Industries in Umpqua, OR (lightened for
competition =$$). Other sources may be available but I am not aware of
them. All three of these suppliers deal in high performance/competition
parts only.
