Hmmmm.... Ok list wisdom...

Suppose I buy a set of 5 Michelin X Redlines now, just in case they are
not available later ($680), and I use my old late 80's 1000 mile
redlines for now. How long will the new ones last on the shelf --
assuming they never see the light of day -- so to speak.
