Vance and others,
I don't really know but, are you sure it is ok to install the rod caps
backwards even if they have been machined that way? I am only asking this
because when the rods are machined in the proper orientation the bearing "tabs"
line up on the same side, which I would think helps to keep them from spinning.
I don't mean to scare you, but i thought it was worth mentioning and maybe
asking your machinist about.
