Rob,

There are so many choices for tires out there. I went to the
tirerack.com web site and took a look at the different brands they
offered then read what actual owners who used the tires thought of
them. You can also search their site with many different variables to
help you narrow your search down. I found that not all tires offered
are available in the size that I was looking for. Their web site
allowed me to find the answers I needed quite quickly. If you choose,
you can order from them, or just use their information to buy your
tires from some else locally. I found that the price I paid including
shipping was less than if I was to purchase the tires locally. NFI and
YMMV, etc, etc. Incidentally, I did a survey awhile back and asked
people what size and brand of tires they were using. I still have the
results if you are interested. I chose Yokohama Avid in 205/65/15.

Good Luck,

Aaron

  Help!
I'm looking to replace the Redline tires on my '73
Tr6. Can anyone give me some good advise on what would
be a tire good for road and autocrossing?
I plan on using 205 70 15's as I understand this size
is 26.5" dia. or close to the original 185 r 15's.
I have a friend who has put Toyo's on his 6 and he
hates them. He says the side walls are weak and this
affects handling.
Can you believe He says He wishes he had gone for
Michelin X as his choice for replacement!
I really hate to lose the Redline, but as I understand
the Michelin is a poor performance tire.
Any advise you guys can offer is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
