I live in Lawrence and commute to Topeka via I-70 daily. As well as the
occasional drive west of Topeka. All I have to say about the entire state of
Kansas' road construction, is be patient. They tear up the whole state at
once. As an example there is about 60miles between KC & Topeka, which is
heavily traveled by commuters, with about 4 different sets of road
construction. It is about the same out west as well. From about Salina to
Topeka (120miles) is about the same way. Lots of one lane in each direction.
