Nationally, there is a history of older winning stock vehicles that have been 
protested and DSQed.  It's been perceived that the only way to beat an older 
vehicle is in the protest shed.

That being said, the SCAC/SEB couldn't get an "old car rule" passed last time 
we tried it (I think it was a 15 year max, if I remember correctly), so I 
doubt it will  happen in the next few years.  Such a rule would probably 
asterisk the cars that are too old, and list them in their respective 
classes, noting they are not eligible for Pros, Tours, or Nationals.  But 
again, I don't think it will be proposed any time soon...
