Mike,

Kumho is supposed to have some 225x45x13 available for next season.  At 
least that is what the guys at the Kumho trailer told me at Nationals.  BTW 
if the tire is 2" shorter in height it will only lower your car 1".  This 
may keep the metal braking effect you mentioned from happening.
