   I just found out the other day, when I went to buy Ford HD, that it
isn't available anymore... kind of.

   The 16oz blue metal cans called "Ford HD" are no more, but my dealer
still has the same fluid, now called "Motorcraft High Performance" in 12oz
plastic bottles for $3/per. I was assured that it is the same fluid, and
the same boiling points are still marked on the container.

   Even more interesting, to me anyway, is that a friend went to buy some
at another Ford dealer, and came away with something completely different;
a DOT4 fluid called "Ford Super". This DOT4 fluid carries a warning that
it should *not* be used in vehicles which specify DOT3 (?). It is also
says that it is for use in Ford Foci.

   Does anyone know anything more about why that warning would exist,
and/or what this fluid is?
