Thanks for all the input on the big wing, but I just wanted to know is some
one had and old one lying around..
If you look on my web site you will see my little autox car. after I made it,
I had to put wings on it, all real race car have wings. so with out any
thought I put some on, the front one is an old stop sign.. the rear is a front
wing from a outlaw dirt car. They don't work well at all,, believe this or
not, I have only had the car out three times and once was in the rain.. but in
third gear and at speed the rear end lift and I get wheel spin.....so our two
day event is next weekend and in keep with tradition of waiting to the very
last minute.. I decided to do something about it..
Down the road I will probably make a good wing, I built models planes for a
long time and we make 90 and 100 inch span wings from foam and thin
fiberglass, very strong and light. it is really not hard to do and the and
there are several computer programs to help with the correct foil shape. But
another thought I had was to get two of those aluminum wings, dual elements,
that are common on the Honda seen at the local hi-school, and make new end
plates and pair them together, they look like they have a good air foil.
but I will most likely wait until next Friday night
