"Classic Auto Restorer" just sent me a piece of junk mail asking me to
subscribe to this magazine. The name of the magazine is compelling
-enough,
but I've never seen it, so I don't have any way of knowing if it is
-useful
or not. Anyone get this magazine? What is your impression of it?

                                                        Joe

I just recently subscribed (I have about 4 issues), it is a pretty
good magazine. Mostly American stuff, but they just a 3 part series
on a TR-6 restoration. It wasn't terribly indepth, but had some great
photos showing just how far gone this car was and the extent the
repairs. They also had a winterizing your car article that was pretty
good. Also if I remember correctly they reviewed LPHV paint systems,
which are all the rage (Low Pressure High Volume).
One slightly disturbing point, when I subscribed (at a some show) the
person told me that they were going to change to a monthly, but I
recently got a note stating that they were staying Bi-monthly. I don't
know if this is a reflection of their stablity, or just a shortage of
material, so I ended up with a 2 year subscription (still 12 issues).
