This is neither a flame nor a joke. Hey Greg, that's nasty stuff!

What do you keep it in? Do You soak it over night?

When I rebuild I get a 30 gallon "oil can" put it on a burner throw in the
parts and fill it with water to cover the parts. Then I throw in a couple
cans of lye and turn on the burner. After it boils for an hour or so I turn
off the burner. When it's cool I add water and drain the parts and blow them
dry.

They usually come clean.

I'd like to know how you do this. Perhaps with a tank I can bypass a couple
steps.
