My 1969 1600 has the old style latch on the hood but has the new style on the firewall. So does this mean I have a 1968 hood? No mounting holes for the newer assembly with the safety latch. Paul OROC Jim, The '69 & '70 model year roadsters had the "safety latch" hoods. As you discovered, you can not use an earlier hood without sheet metal modifications. Cheers, Tom |
