I was running a new cable release for the hood and attempting to put a
1970 hood latch on what I thought to be a 1970 hood last night. Well, I
found out why there was no spring loaded male section on that hood.
[ PO was female going through divorce. ;-) ] Just kidding, she was a
very nice lady who happened to be an artist and happily married.
Anyway- what year did they start putting the larger style hood device
with hook safety release on the high windshield cars? The hood fits
nicely with the hood prop being where it's suppose to be. It's just the
hood has bolt holes closer together and takes a smaller spring loaded
male end.
