When parts started to "cross over" from one year to another, well never
seems to be a clean break with the model year.
Since the hood pin was off center to match up with the firewall latch,
I wonder if somone modified a '68 hood to fit your '69. If you have
a digitial camera, then it is worth while to post a photo on the web,
as I am curious how they got it to line up!
