I was wondering if anyone out there has ever had to remove the window
operators (otherwise known as window cranks) from their roadster. Would
like to know what the steps are to remove them. My window operators are
damaged from having pliers used on them in order to roll up the window
(previous owner), fortunately for my car I saved it by buying it from this
person and now it has a nice home. I would like to fix this in the next
couple of weeks, I have already found another set of window operators but
would like input from anyone that has ever had to do this to their datsun
before.
I also would like to know what is the best method for removing
dirt/grime from the engine compartment, will be taking the body off the
frame in the next couple of months and there is alot of grime down on the
frame and engine compartment.
Finally I need to locate some of the original decals that went inside
the engine bay, like the one that has the paint color and all others, don't
know how many there are but would like to know.
