Well after having so much fun with rebuilding the 2000, 7 years ago I
thought it was time to have so more fun. Anyway I joined the Italian ranks
with the purchase of an Alfa Romeo GTV6. Currently I having a lot of fun
with -- no doubt the crying comes later.
One nice touch on the car that I thought "might" be applicable to the
roadster. The Alfa uses a hood release cable -- actually two cables. The
car has two cables side-by-side -- the second cable is an emergency cable in
case the regular cable breaks. Now I'm sure I'll hear the jokes that the
Alfa "needs" two hood cables but it does seem like an easily implemented
once of prevention for the roadsters.
BTW -- I enjoy the ride of the Alfa but probably the two things that I find
the most interesting is how quickly the engine gains Rpm's and how rapidly
this car decelerates.
