I use a panel adhesive - Liquid Nail - it holds well in
high temps, I have experenced 3m products letting go
in Texas summer heat sometimes.  It  comes in a big tube 
which you use a caulk gun to apply. It is relatively cheap 
and less toxic and more forgiving than contact cement.
