I really don't think a perp will unscrew the ignition lock. More likely
they'll use a slide hammer with a screw bit and yank the lock mechanism out
or use a sledge and large screw driver and use the screw driver to turn the
ignition switch.

Honest people don't think the way criminals do.

Use regular screws, it'll be fine.
