newbie/lock question

Hi All,

  I just dug a '69 2000 out of a friends yard and have started to clean it up.
The PO lost the keys and I was wondering what the best approach to this
situation is.  Is there a key code somewhere on the car? Also, I disassembled
the ignition and need only to release the lock, but(thankfully) I am having a
hard time doing so.  Do you need a special tool to remove the locks?
