You can pull the pump easily with the motor in the car. Just drop the pan
and it's right there. Either 7/16ths or 10mm bolt heads.

One thing, oil will drip on your face and your body and put a large piece of
cardboard under the car so the floor doesn't look like your face :)

If you're going to replace the pump use a 2L pump as it pumps a lot more
oil. You may have to use a stud instead of a bolt however.
