My paint and body guy kindly removed my heater box for me, and since the core
is shot, I took the whole thing apart for painting and core replacement.
Everything went fine, except that there is some cylindrical shaped thing
mounted with two screws to the inside for the heater box. It has two wires
coming out of it that go through the box in the same direction as the water
inlet and outlet pipes of the core.
What is this thing, and how much time do I have to disarm it before it goes
off?
What do it do?
