current to the fog lights

Anyone have an idea how much current the fog lights can take through the 
standard harness and fuse for a 1966.  The wiring diagram seems to trace to a 
30 amp fuse, but I hesitate to put all 30 amps for the lights only.

I had been using a relay, but the new harness I bought would be nice to use 
for the fog lights directly.
