Daniel,
    Would really cold climates use the 5W30 weight oil - like up here in
Canada?? Not sure about turbo impact, but at cold weather and cold oil, 5W30
will run better and thus at start-up should be less likely to cause oils
starvation. I don't imagine it is very good for hot areas or summer
operation.
Just a thought.....0.02
