Spanish ID plate?

I was speaking to one of our members last night and he mentioned
to me that his ID plate on his 66 - 1600, SPL311-06253 is in Spanish.

He wanted to know how many roadsters to sent to Spanish speaking 
countries. Are there any differences in the Spanish cars from 
those manufactuered for example, for the U.S.? Anyone have any info?
