This probably isn't news to all but I thought I'd share it anyway. Although
it (my car) is not on the road, I found a spare that takes up a great deal
less trunk room.

It is a 16 inch 'donut' with the @O.D. of the 185/70 14, but 1/2 as wide. It
has the same bolt pattern and clears the caliper and brake cross over tubes.
(If I had four I could push it around easier and pretend that there is F1
heritage ;-)

It came off an early 80's Maxima (rear drive)

Envying all those who can drive their car year round (and not worry about
salt)
