It was asked:

Depends. Do you ever plan on driving on a 40 degree foggy day?
If you do, you may find yourself at the side of the road, defrosting
the ice out of your carbs...
Thought for the day: If it didn't need to be there, Nissan would have
saved the money and left it off...
