Reading this article on fuel and ignition, it seems they are suggesting that a
larger cam should run better if you advance the timing somewhat....

Would this be the case for a 270 deg. cam in a R/H stroker?

Are you guy's with the strokers running standard timing?

Is this the reason for the initial timing difference between the SU and Solex
2000's?

Do the SU and Solex and 1600's have the same maximum advance? (no vaccuum
advance on the solex)

I seem to remember reading that the 1600 has a total advance of about 20deg. ,
putting max. timing at 36 deg. BTDC, but can't find the info at the moment.
Anyone know?
