To Turbo or not to Turbo

So, what's the advice on turbo vs. non-turbo for the SR20 engine?  Looks like
a lot more work putting the turbo version into a small space, probably more
expensive too.  Is there much difference in the driving characteristics?
Seems like a 50% increase in power to the aspirated DE would be plenty of
power.  Anybody had experience with both engines?  I'd like to hear what
people have to say before I continue my pursuit of one or the other.  Thanks
