I've always wanted to do the negative crankcase pressure trick ala NASCAR. They sell a kit at www.summitracing.com It has a tube with a valve at either end. One end welds onto the exhaust manifold and the other onto the valve cover. Drawing a vacuum on the crankcase increases piston ring seal and raises the compression in the combustion chamber. It also reduces oil foaming in the sump which decreases windage associated drag. Andy |
