hi gary, im afraid i would have to sell my roadster,
(or my 70 chev. el camino S.S.), to be able to afford the 63, 1500.
i love all the little differences between the 1500 and my 2000.
 - flat dash, extra seat, single carb, removable windshield, etc..
it looks more like the traditional sports car, than my 2000.
the only thing i would miss from my 2000, is the pure,
rough, raw power, that the u-20 engine has. when i bought
my 2000 in 1969, i picked it over the MGB, TR-6, triumph GT6,
and the porsche 912, because of the engine power,
and the 5 speed trans. i had one test drive of a
friend's 2000, and the ability of the car, to do 40(mph)
in 1st, 60 in second ,and almost 100 in 3rd. ,sold me.

Well Bob - I have had my very rare single carb 1963 1500 Fairlady for sale at
$25K but if I must I would increase my price to $33K if I must. Contact me
direct if you're interested.
