Rememberance Day

         Veteran, U.S.Army, four years active, seven years reserve. MOS 11F 
(Sniper) and 19F (Cavalry Scout). Veteran of the aborted Kolwezi mission, and 
Desert Storm. SAR (Sons of the American Revolution)
         Brother lost in Vietnam, 4-21-68.
         Grandfather served with the AEF in France, 1918
         Greatgrandfather served out the Civil War in Andersonville.
         GGGGrandfather (Timothy Meeker) served in Washington's Army with his 
13 son's, two son's in-law, and a grandson (too small to carry a rifle so he 
was a drummer boy) during the battles of Springfield, and Monmouth Courthouse 
(N.J.)
 
          The actual time of the Armistice is straight up on the 11th hour of 
the 11th day of the 11th month. Back home the whistles would blow and the bells 
would toll right at 11 A.M. tomorrow.
