If you have the aluminum head metal sprayed with CAST IRON (.005" thick) it
will even pass the magnet test. Then you rust it in places with a  little
muratic acid. I can vouch that it works on flywheels. Funny how I remember
things like that.

  So you take a stock iron head and paint it with aluminum paint. Watch
everyone flail about, screaming and kicking, sort of like when Chevrolet
announced they were going to race their Lumina in NASCAR and had folks running
around whining about folks showing up in 'luminum' cars that would be so light
no one could touch them.

  After all the fraccus cools down, agree to refit the iron head.
  Paint the new alloy head with Briggs & Stratton Cast Iron paint and go
racing.

  People have done worse things.
