ISTR that Quantum recommends 30wt because Laycock recommends 30wt, whereas 
Standard-Triumph recommended Hypoid EP90.

Whatever, there is obviously a tolerance, and FWIW, I do what the Triumph 
factory said I should do and it works fine.
