Amen to that. Been there, learned the lesson. Worst part was there was a new
cooler sitting on the shelf.

I use the mocals on pretty much everything and put BSP to AN adaptors on
them. They are cheap and efficient.

Emergency repair tip: In a serious emergency, like it's 100 degrees out, an
hour before the flag and you just found out the cooler on the car is
cracked, if nothing else at all is available, you can use an automatic
trans  cooler. Flare the (normally slip on) hose ends, put some 1/2" hose
on, double hose clamp it, and go racing *after* the oil has warmed up.
Replace upon arrival home while admiring the new checkered flag you just got
to hang in the garage.
