This year I started using the Redline Shockproof gear oil in the TR trans
and I have had a huge mess on my hands from the top of the box. I believe
this leak has always been there but the oil would run off and go unnoticed
while this weird green stuff CLINGS!
I believe it is coming from the front of the shift box, maybe the three
press-in plugs?
Any advice or experience on leakproofing these boxes? I have a 3.8" hose
breather on the tailshaft extension. Should I put something else in?
It really is a mess!
