I own the largest mobile fuel trailer company in the country. We offer the
GEOsky Alert as an option, for those buyers who are interested in knowing where
their equipment is at all times. It also alerts you if the trailer is moved.
Personally, I wouldn?t park any of our FIVE personal trailers in a storage lot,
especially with a car / tools in them? If you?ve got a trailer & your race car
sitting in a storage lot somewhere, thieves can break any lock, and away they
go. You won?t know about it until you go to pick up your trailer, and it?s
gone? All the locks in the world won?t keep out someone who wants your stuff.

other way to properly secure your trailer, car, equipment, etc. Again, someone
steals your car trailer after breaking all fourteen of your locks? Do the

protect your trailer & contents, and even alert you if it is moved, broken
into, etc. Your locks will not. GEOsky Alert will. Pretty simple.

I don?t agree that locks aren?t the answer. I do agree that a GPS tracker is a
great idea though. Most ( if not all )thieves are lazy, they look for easy
marks with
little risk. Sometimes they are more determined if the reward is high. I use a
wheel boot that will puncture the tires if moved, I use another lock in place
of the ball
and latch the tongue lock down on that and another padlock on the latch. They
can all be defeated but it will take some effort and it would make some noise
so I think the risk out weighs the reward in my case. Another trailer right
next to mine was left unlocked one time that I know of and it was taken. That
tells me they troll
the lot which is private but not secured on a regular basis. I also block it in
with a Ford F450. So, I would say make it difficult by locking it well and get
a tracker.
I use those puck shaped locks on all the doors. I haven?t seen any signs of
tampering in two years.
I?m looking into the one you suggested now.

There's only one real choice, and it's not locks...
GEOsky Alert is the system. It tracks your trailer 24/7. Doesn't need police
activation like LoJack does. Lots of west coast racers use it, with several
successful recoveries.

I don't have tracking solutions but I use the master lock hitch lock which I
don't see available anymore. It wrapped completely around the hitch coupler
and had a locking pin going through the release. Do not get the yellow coupler
lock that is a u clamp around the coupler. My understanding is that those can
literally be kicked off they are so week.
I also have the round padlocks on my rear door and side door.
Lastly I run a pretty stout chain through my tandem wheels on one side and lock
using the round padlock.
I have also heard guys pulling the pin on the electric brakes when leaving.
My trailer is stored under cover in a secure lot and i have left it unlocked
before. All of the above can be broken into but it's like the old saying about
being chased by a bear....you just have to be faster (or more secure) than the
next guy.
