GlacierHi Group!
As the arbiters of accuracy and good taste, I come to you with a question
about mirrors...
I have a concours restored BT7 tricarb. Currently the only rear view mirror is
the one on the dash.
What are your thoughts on rt and lt hand rear view mirrors? I think that I
know that the Lucas flat mirrors and the bullet-shaped after market racing
style mirrors are acceptable... But are they considered desirable? Also, as
far as the Lucas mirrors go, what about placement? Close to the driver, or way
up front on the fender? -Are there precise measurements as to where they would
go in either case?
I don't like the look of the racing mirrors, and to be honest, I probably
could not bring myself to drill the holes for the Lucas ones!! But I was
curious what the general opinion was out there..
Has anyone ever had a problem getting through inspection without side view
mirrors?
