John... I have a lot of expereince with Ford 9" axles... they are big and
herky... ... the pinion angle is extreamly low so they rob power.

okay that's the down side...the upside is that you will NEVER break it...
yep I said that correctly... NEVER unless you come up with a turbo'd six
with Nitrous on Nitro.... and even then I doubt it.... I've run 800hp
through them and had zero issues with the actual rear end... ( thou I've
screwed up the set up once...and had it come apart at 200mph... )( not fun
when your laying over the top of it and the yolk starts flailing against
your back)

It's a Standard Nascar set up so the gear sets come in everything... pick a
number above 2:47 and your in... serious stuff... expect to pay around 1000
to have a stock one modified to suit your needs... but you will love the
parts avalibility ....
