curtis, i only hope the police are as alert as they were on that day in the
late 70's when my son and i were driving through carson city, nv in my old
healey and were pulled over by the police and made to stand by the road with
our hands in the air and two very big pistols pointed at us. seems a green
austin-healey had been stolen that morning in denver and this cop thought we
might be the perps. once they discovered i was a captain in the USAF and our
license and registration checked out we were allowed to proceed. scared the
---- out of me, but i thanked them for being so alert and for knowing what an
austin-healey was. hope the cops out there know what an AH looks like and
find your car ASAP with no damage to it. keep a stiff upper lip and cherrio.
