Jim: Counting the cable rotations is supposed to work well for the
recalibration, and that should also correct for tire size. However, if your
eyes are like mine, it could be easy to screw up. I wonder if another
method might be to have someone clock you (with a known to be accurate
speedo) at different speeds (on your gauge), say 35, 50, 65, and compare the
results. Then tell the calibration people to adjust it to whatever % you
come up with. Does this make sense ?
