Can you USE nylock nuts in a high temperature high load situation like that?

I've got my engine back from the machine shop and I'm going to be starting
to assemble it tomorrow night. Because the torque table in the manual
couldn't be any more ambiguous if they were trying, can someone tell me what
the recommended torques on the main and rod bearing bolts. I'm using nylock
nuts on the mains instead of castellated nuts.
