aluminum behaves in the same general way as steel, only faster. (how's
that for a generalization?)
it bends, stretches and can be shrunk by the same basic techniques.
see the Tin Man, Kent White's, videos on the subject
try Googling 'TM Technologies'.
If the aluminum is stretched you have to shrink it, and aluminum
stretches under less force than does steel. That is the main
difference.
