I was just a young kid in grade school...chose to read car mags instead of
comic books. It might of been Motor Trend, but one day I read an article about
the new Austin-Healey. It featured the experience of the driver who was Mel
Torme. I had no clue who Torme was at the time, but I was captured by the
lines of the Healey.
Many years later, after the kids were out of college, I finally got serious
and sought out my dream car. The BT7 has been infrequently frustrating, but
always a blast.
