OK, had a slow day today and at the urging of M.Salter came up with one
pretty decent solution. This link: www.ampcolubes.com should take you there.
As you can see it delivers a "mist" of lubrication. It could be installed to
deliver on demand or continually I suppose. I also had some very positive
responses from people who used Marvel Mystery Oil (MMO) as an oil additive
and one interesting story of curing spinning valves (when closed) by adding
2 cycle oil to the fuel (however in large doses i.e. 50:1) It was a valve
spring design flaw if you're wondering. My initial answer could be to add
bore "squirters" to the Healey lube system as there is sufficient room in
the block to add them.

 But in the end, let's try not to lose too much sleep worrying about a
really insignificant amount of wear in the long run.
