Dear David,
It could be a bad cell in the new battery. I had that problem and thought
it was the charging system, and then had the battery checked under load and
found out that it had a bad cell.
Not all that is new is good !!

I keep having problems with my BJ8's battery. Unless I flip the battery
switch to off the battery will go through a complete charge in about a
week. I am guessing something is drawing power while the car is off but
unsure where to start. It is not the battery since the battery is
relatively new and will hold a charge. Any advice would be appreciated.
