Hi Michael,

I would guess it means that you can't get a full stroke on the cylinder that 
you are
bleeding if the other cylinder is not free to bottom also. With two hoses 
attached, open
two bleed screws,  & do them together.

Pressure bleeding from the MC's would allow the two systems to be done 
separately.
